Lot 91 - LOT ETCHING BY MOSKOWITZ CHINESE INK WASH PAINTING

A lot of two artworks. The first: a limited edition colored etching on paper, Dancing Group by Ira Moskowitz, 1912 to 2001, a prominent Polish American painter, printmaker, and draftsman known for his representational works capturing traditional cultures, Jewish life. Signed in the plate and pencil, and dated 69, lower right. Numbered 3 of 150, lower left. The second: an ink wash painting on paper depicting a genre scene in a landscape by John H. Chen, a Taiwanese born Chinese painter and educator born in 1939 in Taipei, Taiwan. He is best known for developing and practicing Oo Siang Art, formless art, a philosophy that blends traditional Chinese ink wash techniques with modern acrylic and oil paints on handmade rice paper to achieve harmony between humanity and nature. Signed with two red seals, upper left. Both are framed. Modernist and Contemporary European Graphic Art Prints, Asian Paintings, and Collectibles.
