Lot 449 - EIUROPEAN PIANO FLORAL PAINTED PORCELAIN FIGURAL BOX

A porcelain trinket box modeled in the form of a grand piano and features a white glaze decorated with hand painted polychrome floral sprays. The exterior is further embellished with high relief encrusted porcelain flowers and foliage applied along the scalloped edges and cabriole legs. A hinged lid opens to reveal a plain white interior, secured by two brass toned metal hinges. The front of the box depicts a simulated keyboard beneath a gilded lid edge, and the entire structure is supported by three ornate floral encrusted feet. Marked with a number.
