A vintage Rolex Hunter 9K gold wrist watch. The watch features a hinged protective cover that opens with the push of a button. This design was originally intended to protect the glass of pocket watches while hunting or on the battlefield during military operations. The traditional champagne colored enamel dial features a guilloche pattern. It features large, classic Arabic numerals and blued, Breguet style hands. Marked with the historical Rolex inscription, discreetly inscribed without the modern crown, on the dial. Presented with a fabric bracelet. Circa: 1920s to 1930s.
