Lot 483 - AMERICAN POLICEMENS MONUMENTAL MEMORIAL TROPHY

A monumental memorial trophy constructed from polished wood with a multi tiered architectural design featuring gold toned metal accents and figures. The central structure is surmounted by a lidded trophy cup crowned with a policeman figure, while four smaller matching figures stand upon peripheral columns. A primary arched brass plaque is engraved, William T. Grady Memorial Trophy, and the lower tiers include additional plaques, Sponsored by Policemens Benevolent Association of Westchester County Inc, and decorated alongside star motifs. The base is of square, stepped construction, providing a substantial foundation for the vertical composition. Inscribed, Robert J. Madden 1955 Dobbs Ferry P.D. Vintage Achievement Award, Presentation Cup, Mid Century Americana, Gilt Statuettes, Commemorative Decor, and Collectibles.
