Lot 454 - VINTAGE CURVED HUNTING KNIFE WITH LEATHER SHEATH

A vintage fixed blade hunting knife with original leather sheath. It has a curved shape similar to a Trailing Point or specialized skinner with a distinctive textured checkering at the base of the spine for thumb support. A handle is made in the classic American mid 20th century style from stacked leather. It is complemented by a metal crossguard and a distinctive pommel in the shape of a birds head hook. The leather sheath is adorned with decorative embossing images of a head of deer and birds equipped with a fastening strap with a button.
