An antique Neoclassical model of Roman ruins from the Grand Tour era, recreating a corner fragment of the Temple of Castor and Pollux Dioscuri in the Roman Forum. Four fluted columns rest on a podium that imitates ancient brick or stonework, with deliberately recreated cracks and traces of destruction from antiquity.
