A miniature Japanese Kabuto helmet, likely intended for Boys Day display, features a multi plate bowl finished with intricate gold tone metalwork and decorative fukigaeshi adorned with heraldic crests. The shikoro neck guard is composed of tiered plates joined by vibrant orange silk odoshi lacing, complemented by a matching shinobi no o chin cord with decorative tassels. The ensemble is topped with a pair of detachable, elongated brass toned kuwagata ornaments that slot into the central mount. The interior of the bowl is finished in a traditional red pigment, reflecting the ornate aesthetic of classical armor.
