Lot 502 - PAIR OF ANTIQUE CHINESE GLAZED CERAMIC ROOF RIDGE TILES

A pair of antique Chinese Sancai glazed ceramic equestrian roof ridge tiles. Circa Late 19th Century to Early 20th Century. Featuring two riders dressed in traditional robes and headwear seated upon standing horses. Each figure is rendered in a Sancai-style palette. The figures are permanently mounted to semi-cylindrical arched bases, characteristic of traditional Chinese roof ornamentation. The modeling displays stylized anatomical features and decorative trappings on the horses, consistent with classical ceramic traditions.
