A Russian Silver footed candy bowl. The deep bowl sits on a tall, conical stem with a stepped, round base. Two massive volute handles are positioned on either side, decorated with a raised floral motif featuring stylized flowers. The rim of the bowl is adorned with a geometric, chased frieze in the form of an intertwined ribbon. The bowl is adorned with a central medallion with a reverse side of the table medal In memory of the second marriage of Grand Duke Pavel Petrovich the future Emperor Paul I with Grand Duchess Maria Feodorovna, inscribed in Cyrillic to the edge.
