An antique Russian silver document box with diamonds and gemstones. The rectangular lidded box is decorated with a raised ornament and an applied monogram set with diamonds and pink gemstones. Two commemorative medals are also attached to the lid, including a bronze medal issued in honor of the coronation of Empress Anna Ioannovna in 1730 and a Medal to the Worthy for awarding to students of the Mining School. The edges of both medals are encrusted with diamonds and pink gemstones. The lower part of the lid also features an applique decorative element encrusted with diamonds and an oval blue gemstone.
