A lot of two Nepalese Thangka paintings on fabric in various colors. The lot contains two Buddhist wheels of time called Kalachakra Mandalas. Finely hand-painted on fabric with high-definition details. The Thangka was used in religious processions, in temple interiors, and on the home altar. They often have elaborate compositions including many very small figures. A central deity or symbol of it is often surrounded by other figures in a difficult symmetrical composition. The thangka serves as an important teaching tool depicting the life of the Buddha, various influential lamas, and other deities and bodhisattvas.
