An African rectangular bronze plaque, originating from the Benin Kingdom of the Edo people in present-day Nigeria, depicts six figures in high relief, likely representing court officials or warriors. Each figure is rendered with traditional regalia, including elaborate coral bead collars, textured headpieces, and waist wraps, with several figures holding ceremonial implements. The background is embellished with a repetitive incised geometric motif. A single cast suspension loop is present at the top center, and the reverse reveals the hollow-cast nature of the piece with visible remnants of the core material.
