An oil painting on canvas signed Sang Lee, depicting a serene landscape with a house, winding pathway, and blooming flowers. Framed. Sang Lee is a Korean painter born in 1949 and raised by a single mother. His home town in Korea is surrounded by mountains and by the sea, so his appreciation of nature started at a very young age. He graduated from the University of Seoul in 1972 with a degree in fine arts and became a teacher until 1980. He moved to the US in 1985 to pursue more freedom in his painting career, where he now takes inspiration from both coasts in his work. Lee is the recipient of many prestigious awards both while he was in Korea and now while he is in the US. He has exhibited work in the US, Korea, Japan, and Canada. One of a kind artwork.
