A group of four vintage Russian Soviet books centered on the history of literature and theater, including a 1955 illustrated volume on the Moscow Art Theatre documenting productions and the work of founders Konstantin Stanislavsky and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko. Also included is a 1950 two-volume edition of Leo Tolstoys masterpiece Anna Karenina, featuring period illustrations and decorative publishers bindings.
