A European School carved wood decorative wall panel with a mythological theme, made using the high relief technique. The panel depicts a scene representing The Triumph of Apollo or Entry of Apollo. The subject refers to Guido Renis famous fresco, Aurora, painted in the early 17th century. The panel depicts the sun god Apollo in a chariot drawn by four horses, surrounded by female figures, probably the Muses or Horus, and a flying Cupid Eros. Framed.
