A vintage set of Quimper ceramic pottery, traditionally decorated with iconic Breton folk motifs. A classic example of French faience, handcrafted in the town of Quimper, Brittany. This style is famous for its Quimper paint touch, vibrant, hand-painted folk art designs. The set is adorned with hand-painted figures of Breton men and women in traditional regional costume, framed by vibrant floral sprays and the signature Soleil Yellow and Breton Blue banded borders. This collection includes a variety of classic forms, showcasing the Quimper Brush Stroke technique that has made this regional pottery world-famous for over 300 years.
