A vintage Russian lacquer lidded box, painted in the classic Palekh style, featuring a vibrant winter sleigh scene with three spirited horses in motion. Floral motifs continue around the sides, while the interior is lined in red lacquer. Signed by the artist Zaytcev and marked Palekh with the title Troyka on the lid. Dating to the late 20th century.
