An antique French Neoclassical gilt bronze figural mantel clock by Pierre-Louis Stevenard, 1801 to 1883. Circa the early 19th century. The watch features a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, marked Stevenard. Decorated with applied wreaths and a flag lying on top. Next to it is a male figure with a sword in his hand, under whose feet is an engraved dedication in French. On the base, raised on four legs, is a bas-relief with a dynamic battle scene.
