An antique German infantry officers sword, featuring a straight nickel-plated blade. The gilded brass hilt includes a folding guard decorated with a Prussian eagle, a ribbed grip with the cipher of Wilhelm II, and a leather finger loop. This model was used by officers, NCOs, and members of the infantry, jaeger, engineers, and pioneer corps from 1889 to 1915.
